Schedule a Meeting
When a Microsoft Office 365 environment includes the RealConnect for Microsoft Office 365 solution, scheduled meetings include dialing instructions for non-Skype for Business users, that are using video endpoints that are supported by RealConnect for Microsoft Office 365.
Procedure
In Microsoft Outlook, click New Meeting.
In the new meeting invitation, click Skype Meeting. The meeting invitation is updated to include the Skype Meeting template. This template includes Alternate VTC Dialing Instructions near the bottom on the invitation that provides dialing instructions to other VTC (video teleconferencing) participants.
Complete the fields for the meeting invitation as needed.
To configure lobby settings to determine who will wait to get into the meeting, do the following:
As the meeting organizer, you determine who joins the meeting directly and who will wait for you to grant them access. When the organizer joins the meeting a list of the participants waiting in the lobby are listed and will require a grant or deny to the meeting.- Click Meeting Options on the ribbon within the meeting tab.
- Under These people don't have to wait in the lobby, select your preferred option.
Who gets in directly? What happens Recommended when... Only me, the meeting organizer You are the only one who gets into the meeting directly. Everyone else must wait until admitted. You have a high security meeting and confidential information. People I invite from my company Only people who were invited to the meeting join the meeting directly. Everyone else must wait until admitted. You’re discussing confidential information and want to allow only specific people to join. Anyone from my organization Anyone from your organization can get in to the meeting directly, even if not invited. You don’t have external participants and you are not discussing confidential information. Anyone (no restrictions) Anyone who has access to the meeting link gets in to the meeting directly. You’re inviting outside participants, and you’re not discussing confidential information. If you would like to allow meeting participants to share content, do the following:
In addition to sharing content, presenters have full control over the meeting and can let people into the meeting, record the meeting, change the meeting options, mute people, and so on.- Click Meeting Options on the ribbon within the meeting tab.

Anyone from my organization Anyone from your organization can be a presenter. Anyone (no restrictions) Everyone you invite to a meeting can be a presenter. People I choose You and the people you choose can be a presenter. Click Send when you are ready to schedule the meeting. Outlook sends your meeting invitation as usual. The invitation includes detailed RealConnect for Microsoft Office 365-enabled dialing instructions for supported video teleconferencing endpoints.
