The following ports are required for RealConnect Hybrid. These ports are in addition to any required ports for the Poly Cloud Relay.

Required Outbound Firewall Port for RealConnect Hybrid

Port	Type	Description
5061	TCP	SIP TLS. Can be restricted to the FQDN or IP address of the Lync or Skype for Business Front End Pool, not an individual server within a pool. When you configure RealConnect Hybrid, the SIP TLS port defaults to 5061. If your environment uses a different port for SIP TLS, ensure that port is open and configured in the RealConnect Hybrid application.

Required Inbound Firewall Ports for RealConnect Hybrid

Port	Type	Description
443	TCP	Used for client-to-server SIP traffic for external user access. STUN/TURN negotiation.
3478	UDP	STUN/TURN negotiation.
5061	TCP	For federated and public connectivity, using SIP.
50000-59999	TCP or UDP	Media traffic, both content and video.

Requirements

Verify the Microsoft server environment meets the requirements for RealConnect Hybrid.

Procedure

Follow the Microsoft documentation to enable Anonymous Join, see the Microsoft documentation.
Verify that the inbound ports are configured according to the Microsoft requirements. See the Microsoft documentation.

Note: TCP/UDP ports 50000-59999 are required for endpoints to call through RealConnect to be able to join meetings.
Validate that Anonymous Guest Join is configured correctly.
- Append the meeting organizer's meeting URL with a ?sl=1.
  For example, https://meet.lync.com/tenant/john.smith/CBTGMM66?sl=1.
- Open the appended URL on a web browser located outside your organization's firewall.
- Select the Join using Skype for Business client or Lync client option to validate. If the join succeeds, the edge server is configured correctly.

Set up the Environment

To set up the environment, you must enroll in the Poly RealConnect service to receive the information needed to configure the Poly Cloud Relay. Verify that the edge server has the correct requirements, install a Poly Cloud Relay system, and create a trusted application for the relay. See the topics listed below.
